• Is this coupon or ticket I found online valid?

    The park cannot guarantee tickets purchased on Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace and other 3rd party selling sites. These tickets may not be valid or have been purchased with stolen credit cards and you will not be able to enter the park with that ticket. Rapids does not have any promo code valid on Retailmenot.com, or any other coupon site. We apologize for any confusion but we cannot control invalid information posted on other websites. The park’s correct information and offers are posted on this website.

  • Do you allow prosthetics on waterslides?

    We allow prosthetics on waterslides given the following conditions:

    1. Riders must be able to safely enter and exit the slides.
    2. Riders must be able to assume the prescribed riding position.
    3. The prosthetic must not pose a danger to the patron themselves, others in the ride, the riding vehicle and/or the riding surface (which is for the safety of the guests to maintain a safe riding surface)
    4. Guests wearing prosthetic devices must cover any exposed metal with a padded material.

  • Do you sell towels and sunscreen?

    Yes, there is a retail store at the park. Towels, swimsuits, flip flops, rashguards, suntan lotion and other items are available for purchase.

  • Are lockers available for rent? How much are they?

    Yes, lockers are available for rent.

    • Small locker is $15.00 ($14.02 + tax) + $10.00 refundable deposit; deposit is refunded when key is returned
    • Large locker is $25.00 ($23.37 + tax) + $10.00 refundable deposit; deposit is refunded when key is returned
    • Jumbo Locker is $30.00 (28.04 + tax), no deposit required as these are paid electronically at an in-park kiosk
  • Does Rapids supply life vests?

    Yes, Rapids has life jackets/ PFD’s (Personal Flotation Device) available at no charge. Rapids recommends all guests under 48” or who are non- swimmers wear life jackets where appropriate. PFD’s brought into the park must be US Coast Guard approved.

  • Can I bring food and drinks into Rapids?

    Food, beverages and coolers may not be brought inside the park but they can be left in the covered picnic areas located just outside the park’s gates. Glass bottles and/or alcoholic beverages are not permitted anywhere on water park grounds.

  • Is food and beverage available for purchase at Rapids?

    Yes, Rapids features two full service snack bars, The Big Surf Cafe and Pelican Pete’s Cafe serve hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, sandwich wraps, salads, pizza, beverages, ice cream and more. Different food stands are located throughout the park offering a variety of delights including  slushies, lemonade, and sno-cones.

  • Am I allowed to bring floats from home (ex: children’s arm floats, inflatable tubes)?

    Rapids has life jackets available at no charge. You can bring your own life jackets or personal floatation devices as long as they are US Coast Guard approved. Swimsuits with built in flotation devices are acceptable as long as they are US Coast Guard approved.

  • Can I leave the park and re-enter throughout the day?

    Yes, all park guests leaving the park and planning to return later that day are required to get a wrist band prior to leaving the park.

  • Is there a dress code for the park?

    Appropriate swimwear is required and subject to park approval. No pants with rivets, belts, buckles, chains or bikini thongs allowed. Jeans are permitted in the park but not on any of the slides or attractions. Riders are not permitted to wear sunglasses and/or water shoes on slides.

  • Are swim masks or goggles permitted?

    Swim masks and goggles are only allowed in pools. They are not permitted on the slides or the FlowRider.

  • What if there is bad weather on the day of my visit?

    The park does not close for rain. However, if there are high winds or lightning is detected within a certain radius of the park, park guests will be asked to stay out of the water for safety reasons until the weather has cleared. If severe weather persists, Rapids Water Park, at its sole discretion may determine to close the park. If this is the case, Sunshine Tickets will be issued for admission on another day. Please see Sunshine Guarantee for full details.  There are no refunds due to inclement weather.

  • How much is parking?

    Regular parking is $15 per vehicle. Preferred parking is $20 per vehicle. Parking must be paid online in advance or with a debit/credit card, cash will not be accepted.

  • Is the water heated?

    No, the water is not heated.

  • Does Rapids offer any birthday packages?

  • If I am not going to ride, do I still have to pay to enter the park?

    Guests 2 and under do not require an admission ticket, otherwise a ticket is required.

  • Do you search bags upon entry?

    Yes. For your safety all bags are searched prior to entry.

  • What happens if I lose my Season Pass card/wristband?

    A new wristband can be obtained for a $25 fee. Proper ID needs to be presented at Season Pass processing.

  • Are GoPros allowed in the park and on the rides?

    GoPros are allowed in the Park. However, GoPros are only allowed in the Lazy River and in the Wave Pool. Due to safety and/or slide damage GoPros are not allowed on any other rides.

  • Are there any restrictions if I am pregnant?

    Rapids rides and attractions are not recommended for pregnant women.
