The park cannot guarantee tickets purchased on Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace and other 3rd party selling sites. These tickets may not be valid or have been purchased with stolen credit cards and you will not be able to enter the park with that ticket. Rapids does not have any promo code valid on Retailmenot.com, or any other coupon site. We apologize for any confusion but we cannot control invalid information posted on other websites. Does Rapids offer a Military Discount?
Yes, Rapids Water Park offers 20% off full price admission with valid Military ID for the military member and up to 4 guests. This offer is only available at the front gate with proof of ID.
Do you allow prosthetics on waterslides?
We allow prosthetics on waterslides given the following conditions:
- Riders must be able to safely enter and exit the slides.
- Riders must be able to assume the prescribed riding position.
- The prosthetic must not pose a danger to the patron themselves, others in the ride, the riding vehicle and/or the riding surface (which is for the safety of the guests to maintain a safe riding surface)
- Guests wearing prosthetic devices must cover any exposed metal with a padded material.
How do I get to Rapids?
What are methods of payment?
Rapids Water Park is now cashless! We accept credit cards, debit cards, and mobile payments throughout the park. For guests who prefer to use cash, we have convenient kiosk machines where you can deposit cash in exchange for a card that can be used for tickets, food, shopping, and more within the park.

Do you sell towels and sunscreen?
Yes, there is a retail store at the park. Towels, swimsuits, flip flops, rashguards, suntan lotion and other items are available for purchase.
Are lockers available for rent? How much are they?
Yes, lockers are available for rent.
- Small locker is $20
- Large locker is $30
- Jumbo Locker is $40.00 (No deposit required, as payments are made electronically using a credit card, debit card, or a cash card from our kiosks)
Does Rapids supply life vests?
Yes, Rapids has life jackets/ PFD’s (Personal Flotation Device) available at no charge. Rapids recommends all guests under 48” or who are non- swimmers wear life jackets where appropriate. PFD’s brought into the park must be US Coast Guard approved.
Can I bring food and drinks into Rapids?
Food, beverages and coolers may not be brought inside the park but they can be left in the covered picnic areas located just outside the park’s gates. Glass bottles and/or alcoholic beverages are not permitted anywhere on water park grounds.
Is food and beverage available for purchase at Rapids?
Yes, Rapids features two full service snack bars, The Big Surf Cafe and Pelican Pete’s Cafe; they serve hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, chicken, sandwich wraps, salads, beverages, ice cream and more. Different food stands are located throughout the park offering a variety of delights including slushies, lemonade, funnel cakes and dippin’ dots.
Am I allowed to bring floats from home?
Rapids has life jackets available at no charge. You can bring your own coast guard personal flotation devices.
Can I leave the park and re-enter throughout the day?
Yes, all park guests leaving the park and planning to return later that day are required to get a wrist band prior to leaving the park.
Is there a dress code for the park?
Appropriate swimwear is required and subject to park approval. No pants with rivets, belts, buckles, chains or bikini thongs allowed. Jeans are permitted in the park but not on any of the slides or attractions. Riders are not permitted to wear sunglasses and/or water shoes on slides.
Are swim masks or goggles permitted?
Swim masks and goggles are only allowed in pools. They are not permitted on the slides or the FlowRider.
What if there is bad weather on the day of my visit?
The park does not close for rain. However, if there are high winds or lightning is detected within a certain radius of the park, park guests will be asked to stay out of the water for safety reasons until the weather has cleared. If severe weather persists, Rapids Water Park, at its sole discretion may determine to close the park. If this is the case, Sunshine Tickets will be issued for admission on another day. Please see Sunshine Guarantee for full details. There are no refunds due to inclement weather.
How much is parking?
General Parking: $20 per vehicle. Purchase in advance online.
Preferred Parking: $30 per vehicle offering parking spaces closer to the main entrance than general parking. Preferred parking must be paid onsite. All parking must be paid with a debit/credit card, cash will not be accepted.
Is the water heated?
No, the water is not heated.

If I am not going to ride, do I still have to pay to enter the park?
Guests 2 and under do not require an admission ticket, otherwise a ticket is required.

Yes. For your safety all bags are searched prior to entry.

Are GoPros allowed in the park and on the rides?
GoPros are allowed in the Park. However, GoPros are only allowed in the Lazy River and in the Wave Pool. Due to safety and/or slide damage GoPros are not allowed on any other rides.
Are there any restrictions if I am pregnant?
Rapids rides and attractions are not recommended for pregnant women.

Am I allowed to bring a guest with my season pass?
Yes, Gold Season Passholders get a free one-time use friend ticket valid use thru 5/26, Valid after first visit. Platinum Season Passholders get two friend tickets to use any time during the 2025 season, Valid after first visit.
What is the child admission age?
Children 2 years old or younger are free. All other guests pay the same daily admission price.
What are the benefits if I get a season pass?
How do I get my free parking with gold or platinum season pass purchase?
If you have purchased your passes online you will have a confirmation email, you will show this when parking. This is only for general parking, not premier parking.
How do I obtain my “bring-a-friend free” tickets I got with purchase of gold or platinum season pass?
Gold Pass free friend tickets are valid for one visit in 2025 and must be used by May 26, 2025, Valid After your first visit.
Platinum Pass free friend tickets can be used on any operating day during the 2025 season, Valid After first visit.
Once you process your pass, your pass will have those benefits attached. You can then scan them for your entry at the front gate and then let the attendant know you also want to use your free friend ticket and they will scan again.
How do I purchase discounted guest tickets with my season pass?
To purchase the discounted guest tickets, you will also use your wristband at the ticket window to buy those tickets.
Can I wear footwear on the rides?
No, shoes and aqua socks are not allowed on the rides. You can take them off before the ride, instructed by the Guard where to put them, slide and then put them back on at the end of the ride.
Can I bring a birthday cake into the park?
We do not allow outside food or beverages into the park, but we can hold your cake at the ticket booth. We do not refrigerate cakes. When you are ready to eat cake, we will give it to you to cut at our picnic tables on the outside of the park.
